Biothane is a leather alternative and is one of the strongest and most durable materials available on the market.  It is 100% waterproof, stain resistant, lightweight, comfortable, and easy to clean making it a great choice for the wildest and messiest of adventures!  Biothane can even stand up to freezing temperatures making it a great option for those living in colder climates.

Care
Biothane is designed to be low maintenance, and easy to clean. To keep your gear looking its best:

• Routine Cleaning: Simply wipe down with a damp cloth to remove dirt or mud after walks.

• Deep Cleaning: For tougher grime, use mild soap and warm water.  Rinse thoroughly and towel dry.

• Hardware care: Like any solid brass, our solid brass hardware won't rust but develops a natural patina over time.  Simply clean with some brass polish to help maintain its shine. 

• Avoid: Harsh chemicals, prolonged soaking of hardware, and high heat (do not machine wash or dry)

*Our black coated hardware is made with solid brass, however black coating may chip or scratch with heavy use.
